Who are you?  What do you like?  What comes naturally to you? One thing we all know about fashion is that it comes and goes.  Though certain trends may change, one thing that will never go out of style is Individuality. When we think of individuality in the category of …

A Father’s Advice — “How to Keep Him Interested”

Father daughter

We had to post this powerful letter that one father wrote to his little girl after reading an article about “how to keep a man interested.”  We absolutely LOVE how this father stressed the importance of “knowing your worth”.  When you know your worth, you won’t compromise yourself or your standards!  During the Real Life, Real Talk National Call last month, our guest speaker (Gina Watson, a.k.a Mamma G) shared a very profound truth — the BEST that you will ever have to give anyone is yourself !  We hope and pray you understand, know, and LIVE that truth.  Please read…

Dear Cutie-Pie,

Recently, your mother and I were searching for an answer on Google. Halfway through entering the question, Google returned a list of the most popular searches in the world. Perched at the top of the list was “How to keep him interested.”  It startled me.

It is not, has never been, and never will be your job to “keep him interested.”  Your only task is to know deeply in your soul — in that unshakeable place that isn’t rattled by rejection and loss and ego — that you are worthy of interest.

If you can trust your worth in this way, you will be attractive in the most important sense of the word … Continue Reading

Nearly a year ago, I came across an article on mountain climbing that truly resonated with me.  After browsing the contents, I realized that there are several things about mountain climbing that parallel our own lives, walk, and understanding of purpose. Being a novice to the sport, I began to study the art of mountain climbing more closely.

Here are 10 Lessons Learned from mountain climbing  that I think we can all use in life.   We originally planned to share these lessons exclusively with the young ladies in our Atlanta-based chapter of Fly-Chicks, Inc. and decided to share the contents with all of our online readers.  We’re curious to know what you think and how one or more of these principles may may apply to your life … Continue Reading

A Letter from Your Father

FC - Ink pen image

My Beloved Child,

It’s time to surrender your fears, your insecurities, your pain, and even your loved ones completely to Me. I want your whole heart and mind and soul to be worry-free. I want your complete trust so you can focus on your faith and be free of the spirit of fear that is controlling you.

Give up the fight of trying to figure it all out. Don’t let your circumstances hold your heart hostage or cause you to lose your confidence in Me. I am asking you on this day to answer this one question — In whom do you place your trust?

Your Trustworthy Heavenly Father
